The Entrepreneur's Life Cycle
We have seen in this blog the definition of entrepreneurship and talked also about the transition between employee to entrepreneur. Now, let's talk about the entrepreneur's life cycle and how a person can become an entrepreneur, as well as what are the next steps of entrepreneurship.
Entrepreneur's Life Cycle |
As stated in the picture above, the entrepreneur's life cycle is depicted in the steps before becoming officially an entrepreneur and after. There are key steps to undertake and key assets to have which consists the steps of this life cycle, which we will see in details.
Stage 1 - Being a Student
At a certain stage of being student, your mind starts to elaborate the entrepreneurial mindset unconsciously.
What does that mean?
Simply, you become an entrepreneur without realizing it. A residue of tons of ideas is stuck in your mind, in the unconscious zone, and if you succeed to extract those ideas, you can simply become an entrepreneur by suppressing the remaining of the student phase and bypassing the employee phase. Those ideas form the "WHY" of your life and its purpose.
You don't need to be a millionaire in order to hold an entrepreneurial position, as entrepreneurship is a change in your mindset. It's in the way you see things and you execute them. So, you can simply start buying and selling things and owning your financial freedom progressively.
By that way, you start growing your business and you can jump to step 3 and afterwards.
A little funny spirit: Notice that your laugh's pattern at this stage is like "hihihi" as it is purely from your deep pure heart.
Stage 2 - Being an Employee
If you are meant to be an entrepreneur, and you couldn't extract the entrepreneurial ideas from your mind during the student stage, that means you are struggling to find an innovative idea to launch your business. This struggle might take time but never ever lose hope.
How do you know that you will become an entrepreneur while this struggle? The answer is simple. You don't need to know because you are thinking about it frequently. You will become some day, you might fail, several times, but don't surrender, don't create or imagine obstacles. Break those obstacles and continue your way through the ladder of entrepreneurship.
While in your career, you will explore a lot of opportunities for ending your career and jumping to entrepreneurship. After thinking rationally, and analyzing the startup scenarios, you can start your official entrepreneur's life and enjoy its beauty.

Stage 3 - Becoming an Entrepreneur
At this stage, you knew how to launch your startup business and started enjoying the benefits. Benefits can be success or failures because you will learn from both.
What is important to be highlighted here is the different language that you start to speak with yourself and while networking. The words that you choose start to become heavier, also your tongue's tone. Your preference for people also changes, and your life and business targets start to take the majority of your communication.

Stage 4 - Becoming an Angel Investor
As of each life stage, new things start happening due to the stage consequences, circumstances, threats and opportunities that arise. Entrepreneurship stages also face the same dilemma.
The networking's result of the entrepreneurship stage will lead you sooner or later to start investing. There are multiple ways of investing and this is not our subject here, but no matter the type and its stage, at the end you will remain an angel investor, whether alone, with partners, withing a Venture Capital company or else.
You will develop a risk strategy that will end up by investing your money collected from your efforts during the entrepreneur's stage. No way of escaping this risk.
